The Offa Students Union
National Headquarters

The Offa Students Union (OSU) is a student organisation representing students from Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria, at both local and national levels. The National Headquarters coordinates programmes and initiatives that benefit the wider Offa community — particularly in education and student welfare.

The 2026 Summer School is one of the most significant educational initiatives ever undertaken by the OSU National HQ. It is a direct response to the need for quality supplementary education during the academic holiday — a time when many students lose momentum and fall behind.

By organising this programme, OSU is investing directly in the academic future of hundreds of young people, while giving qualified teachers a platform to contribute to their community in a meaningful and professional way.

Our Core Mandate
To provide structured, high-quality academic support to students from Primary through Senior Secondary during the 2026 summer holiday — ensuring no child is left behind and every teacher is properly vetted, registered, and supported.
Our Guiding Principle
"Quality Over Quantity" — this motto governs every decision. We offer fewer subjects taught with excellence rather than overwhelming students with a long list of poorly delivered lessons. Every subject was carefully selected for its impact on students' long-term academic success.
Staff Accountability
No teacher can log in or begin teaching until officially reviewed and approved by the school administration. This vetting ensures every student is taught by a qualified, accountable professional — maintaining consistently high standards throughout the programme.
Mission & Vision

What We Stand For

Clear values that shape everything — from subject selection to staff approval to how we treat every student who walks through the door.

Our Mission
To Deliver Quality Education to Every Student
Our mission is to close the academic gap that students experience during school holidays. We provide a focused, well-organised summer school covering the most important subjects at each level. Every student who attends should leave better prepared for the next academic term — with stronger foundations, greater confidence, and reinforced core concepts.
Our Vision
A Community Where No Student Falls Behind
We envision a community where quality education does not stop when the school term ends. OSU believes the academic potential of every child in Offa must be nurtured year-round. The 2026 Summer School is a major step toward that vision — and every teacher who joins is a direct partner in building something that will outlast this single summer.
